What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Delivery Driver position at Lakeside International Trucks?
Overview
Our Parts Delivery Driver will be responsible for delivering parts to customers and completing appropriate paperwork including obtaining signatures as required.
The hours for this position are 11:00am – 7:30pm.
Responsibilities:
Delivers parts and equipment to customers, other stores, and vendors as needed.
Complete all appropriate paperwork at the time of delivery and obtain appropriate signatures as required.
Unload truck each night, turn in all paperwork.
Help maintain the professional appearance of the parts department.
Ensure company truck is maintained in an appropriate manner, including appearance, maintenance checks, and safety inspections done as required.
Lift and transport parts weighing up to 50 pounds, several times a day.
Ensure good customer service and maintain a professional company image.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Ability to communicate well orally and in writing with customers, vendors, and other contacts
Knowledge of truck repair and maintenance
Educational Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent
