The Opportunity

As a Lighting Technician, you will play a crucial role in installing, repairing, and maintaining low-voltage lighting systems for both residential and commercial properties. You’ll work closely with the Service Manager and be a key part of delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Promote and maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Install, service, and program outdoor low-voltage lighting systems for clients.
  • Operate lighting systems, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary diagnostics.
  • Recommend and implement system improvements to enhance performance.
  • Understand and promote all company services, with a focus on upselling.
  • Participate in training, coaching, and ongoing professional development.

Who You Are (Qualifications & Skills)

Must-Haves:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in landscape lighting.
  • In-depth knowledge of landscape lighting systems.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
  • Availability to work full-time (40-50 hours per week).
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs., bend, stretch, stand for long periods, climb stairs, reach, twist, sit, walk, and/or run.
  • Ability to operate a vehicle at speeds up to 70 MPH.
  • Strong multitasking, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Consistently positive attitude and professional demeanor.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Valid Chauffeur License with a clean driving record.
  • Valid Michigan Department of Transportation (DOT) card.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
