We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sr. Financial Analyst to join our finance team. The Sr. Financial Analyst will play a key role in preparing monthly and quarterly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, management of intercompany balances, invoicing intercompany billings, and ad hoc projects. This is a position with the ability to learn and gain experience in the business with the potential to expand into additional roles and / or responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Utilize accounting knowledge to transact journal entries, reconcile assigned accounts, analyze and resolve discrepancies, assist in preparing the monthly financial statements, and assist in the monthly accounting close and the annual audit.
- Historical financial analysis and reporting
- Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts by providing accurate cost information.
- Collaborate management team to reconcile physical inventory counts with financial records.
- Prepare monthly / quarterly customer rebate payments and supporting schedules and work with customers to resolve disputes.
- Prepare monthly manufacturer’s representative commission payments.
- Partner with HR to ensure the accurate and timely processing and payment of payroll, benefits and tax filings
