What are the responsibilities and job description for the Switchboard Operator position at Lakeside Neurologic?

Lakeside Neurologic is currently interviewing for the full time position of Switchboard Operator B Shift.
B Shift - Monday - Friday 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Full Time
Switchboard Operators are important team members that perform the following duties at the facility.
- Answer phones in a professional, timely and efficient manner.
- Placing calls for clients that reside at the facility, following protocols.
- Screening calls for clients following all protocols.
- Connecting residents with the Florida Abuse Hotline or Ombudsman
- Greeting visitors, registering visitors, ensuring visitor protocols are followed, directing visitors to offices or client residents if permitted.
- Notifying clinical team of any emergencies.
- Accepting Fed-Ex and UPS Deliveries.
- Assisting on shift Supervisor with any emergencies that include call 911, EMS or Law Enforcement.
- Communicating effectively with team members
- Requirements for this position are HS Diploma or GED required. Previous experience in a hospital setting, skilled nursing facility, school or office setting is preferred.
