Purpose and Impact:
This is an exciting opportunity for a well-rounded HR professional. This in-office position provides leadership to the HR function within a growing professional service business of approximately 100 employees in the NW metro area of Charlotte, NC. This key management role will serve as a strategic partner and hands-on leader to drive HR initiatives that align with business goals.
About the Role:
- Collaborates with senior management to understand business needs and develop HR initiatives that drive employee engagement and organizational success
- Effectively counsels on employee relations, conflict resolution, performance management, terminations, investigations and employee documentation
- Maintains current knowledge and application of all federal, state and local employment laws to ensure organizational compliance. Educates and advises management on HR-related legal and regulatory matters and ensuring HR programs, practices and policies are aligned.
- Leads and supports organizational development and change management initiatives, ensuring effective communication and employee involvement
- Supervises Talent Acquisition and Culture Curator and Learning and Development functions
- Partners with leadership to develop and maintain a competitive total rewards/pay philosophy to attract and retain staff, advise on compensation practices, review market data, monitor pay practices and proactively address issues
- Manages a strategy to optimize HR related technology, enabling managers and employees to easily perform employee related transactions. Maintain all other HR technology platforms, ensuring accurate and efficient data management.
- Manages employee benefits including broker relationship, resources, and benefits enrollment process

- You have 5 years’ HR experience including leading an HR function
- You have prior supervisory experience
- You have a bachelor’s degree in HR or related business degree
- You have a SHRM CP or PHR certification. SHRM SCP or SPHR certification is preferred

Office based. We are a dog-friendly office
