Position Description: The Operation’s Sourcing Associate will support and communicate with Project Managers and Project Coordinators to assist with obtaining subcontractors for facility maintenance projects. The Sourcing Associate acts as a support role in a team-oriented environment. Sourcing Associates need be highly organized, adaptable, efficient, and able to prioritize tasks while working independently. You must also feel comfortable and confident in cold calling new subcontractors to add them to our existing network.
As Sourcing Associate, you will:
- Source subcontractors for various scopes of construction trade work using internal and external resources
- Communicate scheduling needs and confirm site visit time frames meet Lakeside Project Solution’s standards
- Properly add new subcontractors to Lakeside’s proprietary software system (Blue Horizons)
- Ensure all conversations with subcontractors are properly documented
- Confirm subcontractors meet LPS insurance and procedural requirements
- Set pricing expectations with subcontractors at onset of work order acceptance
- Negotiate subcontractor rates to align with LPS standards
What you have:
- Typing proficiency of 50 WPM
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- 1 year experience sourcing and coordinating vendors/subcontractors
- Keen attention to detail and an aptitude for problem-solving
- Computer and technology skills
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service
- Excellent work ethic
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills

- Ability to manage a high volume of emails, voice messages and phone calls efficiently and accurately

Job Type:
- Full-time; office-based; must be NC resident located within commuting distance of Denver, NC
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate’s degree or higher preferred
