Maintenance Manager
The Maintenance Manager will ensure that all operational equipment and facilities are functioning efficiently and safely in the plant.
Responsibilities
- Creating and executing maintenance plans to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability of equipment.
- Managing and leading a team of maintenance technicians to ensure effective and compliant maintenance activities.
- Performing routine inspections to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
- Working closely with other departments to optimize machinery performance and minimize production disruptions.
- Overseeing maintenance-related budgets and capital budget to control costs while maintaining high standards of equipment upkeep.
- Ensuring that all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, PM program and inspections.
- Planning and scheduling both planned and unplanned maintenance work.
- Controlling maintenance tools, stores, equipment, and costs.
- Dealing with emergencies and unplanned problems.
- Working with external contractors for specialized maintenance services and materials - confirming projects, supplies and performance are on time and meeting the highest standards achievable.
- Enhancing maintenance procedures and reducing costs through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Providing training and development opportunities for maintenance staff to enhance their skills and efficiency.
