As we continue to grow, we are seeking a strategic and experienced  Chief Financial Officer (CFO)  to lead our financial operations and drive the company’s financial health and long-term success.

Job Summary :

The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring financial stability and growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management within the construction, distribution, or manufacturing industries. This individual will work closely with the executive team to optimize financial performance and support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and profitability.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to ensure financial health and sustainability.
  • Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive decision-making.
  • Manage financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission of financial statements.
  • Oversee accounting functions, ensuring adherence to GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Optimize pricing strategies, cost controls, and profitability analysis.
  • Manage relationships with banks, auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
  • Develop financial models to assess business opportunities, risks, and expansion strategies.
  • Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and credit policies to improve cash management.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate vendor terms.
  • Oversee and properly manage the accounting for inventory, and measure / monitor key indicators including turnover.
  • Implement financial controls and risk management policies to safeguard company assets.
  • Lead financial due diligence for potential acquisitions, mergers, and partnerships.
  • Assess and improve internal financial processes, ensuring efficiency and transparency.
  • Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and financial aspects of human resources. Review commission packages.
  • Monitor and optimize tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and executive team.
  • Support operational decision-making by analyzing financial and non-financial metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
  • Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Evaluate and implement financial technology solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with department heads to align financial goals with overall business strategy.

Qualifications & Skills :

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • 10 years of financial leadership experience, preferably in construction, distribution, or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Knowledge of construction or distribution financial models and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Experience working with lenders, investors, and external financial partners.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
