We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Social Studies Teacher to join our faculty and inspire students in the various on-level, advanced, and Advanced Placement courses.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with state and national social studies standards.
- Foster critical thinking, discussion, and inquiry-based learning in the classroom.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports all students.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through various formative and summative assessments.
- Utilize technology and diverse teaching strategies to enhance student learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student success.
- Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives.
Salary ranges from a minimum ($51,000) to a maximum ($73,311) - based on the 2024/25 salary schedule for a 190 day contract. Salary is based on experience. A complete salary schedule can be found on our school website.
