Summary
Lakeview Farms is growing and looking for a Supply Planner that can help in the transformation to Integrated Business Planning. The Supply Planner will be responsible for overseeing the execution and planning of the supply plan for new and existing products, to meet organizational goals. This includes creating a Master Production Plan for the Operations team. This person is responsible for keeping an optimal level of finished goods inventory to satisfy the customer’s demand while avoiding product written off (due to shelf-life expiration).
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute product supply plans to meet organizational goals.
- Develop a Master Production Schedule based on product demand.
- Maintain demand plan to ensure cost effectiveness and to meet customer demand and fill rate targets.
- Maintain inventory levels based on future customer demands and demand plan.
- Optimize inventory levels to meet organizational goals.
- Avoid product write-offs while customers’ demand is fully satisfied.
- Identify opportunities to meet customer demands during constrained supply periods.
- Identify areas of improvement and recommend action plans.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present information to a cross-functional team.
- Drive sustained performance in all critical areas of customer scorecards (customer fill rate, on-time ship)
- Maintain data regarding supply history.
- Develops capacity plan for annual budget.
- Lead weekly meetings with assigned plants to review the Supply Plan
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, concentration in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Finance or Engineering
- Minimum 5-year experience of related work experience
- Experience with ERP systems and forecast software
- Advanced Proficiency in Excel
- Experience with SAP is a plus
- Knowledge of SQL is a plus
- Experience in a company with an IBP or Advanced S&OP process is a plus
- Strong organizational, planning, time management and follow-through skills with the ability to prioritize multiple and competing projects.
