Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and care of landscaped areas, ensuring that outdoor spaces are clean, attractive, and well-maintained. This role requires a strong attention to detail and a passion for outdoor work, as you will be involved in various tasks related to landscape maintenance and lawn care.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular groundskeeping duties including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Maintain flower beds, gardens, and other landscaped areas by planting, watering, and weeding.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to carry out landscaping tasks.
- Irrigate plants and lawns as needed to ensure healthy growth.
- Clear debris from walkways, parking lots, and other outdoor areas to maintain cleanliness.
- Assist in the installation of new landscaping features as directed.
- Monitor plant health and report any issues such as pests or diseases to management.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping is essential.
- Knowledge of lawn care techniques including fertilization, aeration, and pest control is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
