Hotel Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team in providing exceptional cleanliness and hospitality to our guests. As a vital part of our hotel operations, you will ensure that guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. Your role will contribute significantly to the overall guest experience, making their stay enjoyable and memorable.

Duties

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to hotel standards.
• Perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing.
• Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as towels, toiletries, and other amenities.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public spaces to ensure cleanliness and maintenance.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management promptly.
• Assist in the organization of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
• Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with guests and team members.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products used in hotel environments.
• Experience in industrial cleaning or custodial work is preferred.
• Familiarity with floor care procedures including carpet cleaning and hard surface maintenance.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
• Strong communication skills that enhance teamwork within the hospitality environment.
• Previous experience in housekeeping management is a plus but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
