Job Description
As a Cath Lab RN, you will provide critical care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures. You will work closely with the healthcare team to ensure effective communication and collaboration, using your clinical expertise to make sound judgments and provide exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients through all aspects of the procedure, including transport, site preparation, and hemostasis following removal of the catheter or sheath.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records, completing all paperwork associated with procedures and preparing tests for physician interpretation.
- Collaborate with fellow members of the team to ensure interdisciplinary and collaborative approach to patient care.
- Demonstrate an ability to be flexible, organized, and function well under stressful situations.
