How you can help: The Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes and systems to improve efficiency and quality. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and product engineering, to develop and sustain process improvements, support production goals, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

- Design, develop, implement, and review automated systems and processes to enhance production efficiency.
- Monitor and optimize existing processes to identify and address inefficiencies.
- Apply Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and enhance production efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with production equipment and automated systems.
- Develop and update work instructions, procedures, and documentation related to automation.
- Communicate with the manufacturing floor to determine optimal output and yield using relevant software tools.
- Research and recommend new materials, processes, and equipment to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
- Lead automation projects from concept to implementation, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality guidelines, and industry regulations.
- Use data analysis tools to monitor production performance and implement improvements.
- Identify trends and present findings and recommendations to management.
- Participate in cross-departmental meetings to align on manufacturing project goals.
- Serve as a technical resource for client calls alongside the sales team, as needed.
- Support the completion and documentation of Engineering Change Notices (ECN).
- Assist with project management tasks under the direction of management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (mechanical, electrical, or industrial) with at least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD software (Creo and/or SolidWorks preferred) and common office applications.
- Experience with manufacturing systems, equipment, and processes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately within deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Open to new ideas and committed to continuous improvement.
Salary : $62,000 - $85,000
