Overview
Bayview is an investment management firm focused on investments in mortgage and consumer credit. The Emerging Strategies Lending Products segment is a business line for direct to consumer lending efforts, focused toward homeowners. The team will create innovative solutions that will raise awareness of available financial options and provide products to improve the financial well-being of consumers.
The product management team in Emerging Strategies will play a key role in identifying consumer needs, designing product experience, building/launching a series of new products that will be beneficial for consumers. We will first launch new products/flows for professional networks, existing customers and then expand to prospects. We are looking for leaders who can operate with a white sheet of paper, ideate, collaborate, build, launch, and iterate on new consumer facing products. This role can be remote or in an office in New York City, NY or Coral Gables, FL. Pay range for the role is $175,000 to $250,000, with an annual bonus.

Responsibilities
- Develop strategic direction and roadmap product areas across Emerging Strategies
- Lead the ideation, design, technical development, and launch of an innovative set of products
- Partner closely with cross functional stakeholders, including but not limited to Design, Engineering, Analytics, Marketing, Business Development, Legal, Risk, and other leaders to build and launch new products
- Establish shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities using competitive and user research
- Utilize data to help keep focus on each step of the consumer journey from awareness to product acquisition
- Use strong analytical, problem solving, and quantitative skills with data-driven approach to enable decision-making
- Identify and break down complex business problems into solvable pieces that can be shipped iteratively
- Engage team by recruiting, selecting, onboarding and training employees
- Cultivate career and performance growth through engaging, continuous dialogue with direct reports
- Align, reach and exceed to business objectives.
- Track and monitor product performance against targets

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- 5-7 years of Product Management experience.
- 2 years of financial product experience
- Knowledge/experience of fintech (home improvement, personal loans, etc.), e-commerce or marketplace at a fast-growing company
- Ability to create and execute against a product roadmap driving significant business and consumer impact.
- Ability to work and communicate cross-functionally; collaborate & influence as part of a team.
- Collaborative in team environments but also able to act autonomously as a decision-maker.
- Experience using digital/mobile user interfaces and relevant systems/tools to build the experience.
- Knowledge in conducting research to inform product strategy and design.
- Analytical curiosity and experience conducting data analysis.
- Ability to hire/manage to build out a team with a strong team culture.
- Stay current on operational, product, and system changes/enhancements.
- Able to take “full ownership” of issues until they are completely resolved and processes put in place to prevent recurrence.
