What are the responsibilities and job description for the AVP NATIONAL SALES MGR position at Lakeview Loan Servicing?
The AVP, National Sales Manager, is responsible and accountable for all aspects of initial loan submission quality and timing. You will lead a team of Mortgage Loan Originators and ensure your team executes against specific policies and procedures focused on the beginning of the loan origination process (completeness audits, quality audits, disclosure distribution, borrower follow-up and routing of loans to processing). You will be tasked with leading the development and growth of your team to successfully originate residential mortgage loans that are saleable to the GSEs.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the distribution of initial disclosures to borrowers within the 3-day requirement
- Ensure every application is complete and all borrower information is correct
- Achieve production targets, applications sent to borrowers and applications returned from borrowers
- Partner with the Sales Managers to understand and drive business strategy focused on quality
- Partner with Fulfillment to ensure best in class customer service levels and cycle times
- Responsible and accountable for compliance across all aspects of loan production
- Meet or exceed team productivity goals
- Meet or exceed team quality goals
- Manage all aspects of your team's operational metrics (calls, service levels, disclosures sent, app conversion rates, etc.).
- Attract, retain and develop team members
- Ensure effective education and employee development (drive career path opportunities, Processor/MLO)
- Create a result focused culture where how you do what you do is as important as what you do
- Drive best in class employee engagement and customer satisfaction (monitored through survey results)
- Hold teams and business partners accountable to results and performance
- Create and manage team member development plans and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of management experience in mortgage lending/originations/required
- Experience building strong relationships with internal business partners to achieve success
- Working knowledge of the originations business including HARP, FHA, VA (IRRRL) and traditional conforming products
- Knowledge of underwriting standards (GSEs) and loan fulfillment processes
- Experience working in tele sales center environment
- Proven track record of successfully managing 10 or more team members
- Ability to successfully recruit, interview, hire, develop and retain team members
- Proven ability to lead, model, coach, and mentor team members
- College degree in Business Management or related field preferred
- Experience in the residential mortgage lending sales or processing space
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong technology skills required (LOS, PC, Web-portal tools)
Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registration
- NMLS license is preferred.
