What are the responsibilities and job description for the DATA ANALYST position at Lakeview Loan Servicing?
The Data Analyst will be responsible for querying, organizing, and transforming large data sets through PowerBI into reports and visualizations to inform decision making at the senior management level. The ideal candidate should have the ability to recognize and clearly communicate insights and trends in complex data in both normal course of business and ad hoc situations. This role will focus primarily on analytics that support deal acquisitions and modeling functions within the business.
The role can take advantage of Lakeview’s offices in Ft. Lauderdale, FL hybrid. Work days will be Monday & Friday at home. Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday in office. The salary range for this role is $65,000 to $80,000 with annual bonus; however, Bayview considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, location and key skills.
Responsibilities
- Compile, clean, structure, and analyze large data in a clear and thorough manner
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimizations
- Arrive at and communicate meaningful insights that inform decision making
- Able to simplify and distill complex data
- Develop dashboard, visuals, and larger scale reporting suits to monitor performance and provide feedback loop to acquisition models
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in computer science, big data, information management, or related field or equivalent related experience.
- Strong knowledge of and experience using Power BI and SQL databases.
- Python, R, or similar programming language a plus
- Familiarity with Excel is recommended
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Process oriented with strong documentation skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work through problems logically
