MSR Data Analyst

Overview

This role involves researching, interpreting, and validating data to support business needs and drive informed decision-making. Key responsibilities include writing reports, developing data flow processes, and defining business requirements, as well as reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems to align with organizational strategies. The position also plays a critical role in guiding business units on report development and sourcing specific data, ensuring accuracy and consistency across reporting environments. The role can be 100% remote or hybrid out of Coral Gables, FL office. Pay range for the role is $33.65 / hr to $38.47 / hr, with an annual bonus.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Interpretation : Analyze and interpret large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive business decisions. Employ technical tools and utilities to gather, review, and analyze data to :
• Diagnose root causes of production data errors
• Identify data patterns that support business process improvements
• Perform predictive analyses to forecast future outcomes relevant to business goals.
• Collaborate with IT to develop essential mapping documents, data models, and data dictionaries
• Validate requirements and data sources through research and analysis
• Continuously update and maintain requirements documents to ensure accuracy and relevance
• Monitor project progress by tracking activities, resolving issues, and publishing regular progress reports
• Generate comprehensive technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing key information and trends
• Business Requirements Documentation : Partner with business stakeholders to document current processes and desired outcomes, translating them into detailed business requirements that guide IT in designing technical solutions aligned with business objectives
• Collaboration & Feedback : Provide clear and comprehensive feedback to IT and developers on business needs, ensuring solutions meet operational goals and quality standards
• Data-Driven System Improvement & Controls : Utilize data analysis to assess current system practices, identifying inefficiencies and performance gaps. Leverage insights to recommend data-informed system modifications that enhance overall performance and operational efficiency. Proactively monitor data trends to identify potential control measures, addressing issues before they impact business operations
• Data-Driven System Improvement & Integrity Monitoring : Utilize data analysis to assess current system practices, identifying inefficiencies and performance gaps. Monitor data integrity and proactively detect anomalies to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systems. Leverage insights to recommend data-informed system modifications that enhance overall performance and operational efficiency
• Analytical Project Planning & Requirements Definition : Define project requirements with a data-driven approach, establishing milestones, phases, and key deliverables informed by analytics. Lead requirements sessions with business stakeholders, using data insights to document needs accurately. Conduct thorough review sessions to validate requirements, support stakeholder understanding, and secure sign-off with a focus on data alignment and actionable outcomes
• Data-Driven Recommendations : Use analytics to recommend strategic changes to management, supporting suggestions with data insights that highlight relevant trends and opportunities for improvement
• Reporting & Ad Hoc Analysis : Develop informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting to highlight business trends and potential areas for improvement. Conduct ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues as they arise
• Additional Responsibilities : Provide support for various tasks and projects as needed to meet team and organizational goals
