Responsibilities:
- Handle and store food according to facility procedures and safe food handling guidelines.
- Assist with food preparation, following standardized recipes and safe food handling practices.
- Set up the food tray line, assemble diet trays, and deliver tray carts to dining areas or units.
- Clean dishes, utensils, and equipment according to facility procedures.
- Contribute to the dishwashing operation and cleaning tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Prior experience as a food service aide in an institutional setting is preferred.
