Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Administer medications as directed by physicians.
- Maintain accurate patient records, coding and documentation.
- Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and medical histories.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Educate patients on treatment plans and medication usage.
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology to communicate effectively with staff and patients.
- EKG's, Injections, Blood Draws
Requirements
- Certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent experience in a clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
