Job overview:
We're seeking a skilled Aggregate Rock Crusher and Excavator Operator. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in rock quarries, operating equipment, and hammering/crushing materials. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
Responsibilities:
- Operating the excavator and other pieces of heavy equipment
- Use hydraulic hammer to break down materials to various sizes
- Practice safety procedures under MSHA regulations
- Maintain equipment to the utmost degree
- Communicated and collaborate effectively with team members
- Preform any other tasks assigned by management
Qualifications:
- 3 Years prior operating excavator experience
- Previous quarry or mining experience preferred
- Understanding of MSHA rules and regulations
- Ability to perform physical labor tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs. repetitively
- Ability to work long hours in all weather conditions
Special Requirements: Must be able to pass controlled substance tests prior to, and at all times, during employment.
