NeuroStar Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), FDA cleared non-invasive treatment that uses electromagnetic therapy to stimulate nerve cells in the brain
The TMS Practice Manager will coordinate the management, growth and development of the TMS practice.
Manager will also administer in-office TMS therapy under the direction and supervision of our treating physician. This individual will be trained onsite in the administration of TMS, interact regularly with patients, and manage the administrative tasks of this clinical service and TMS practice.
Major Functional Areas and Description of Duties
- Provide Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) services, including preparation for and administration of TMS treatments under the supervision of a TMS-certified Physician.
- Follow TMS treatment protocols;
- Complete administrative responsibilities including, but not limited to, screening patients interested in TMS, assisting with prior authorization and appeal process for insurance companies, participate in marketing activities for TMS and organization, and scheduling TMS treatments;
- Execute all required services and documentation in accordance with agency policies and federal/state standards
- Perform electronic health record documentation on all treatment related matters, communications and face-to-face encounters in accordance with agency policies and federal/state standards;
- Any other office responsibilities as needed by the TMS practice management
Qualifications and Skills
- An associates or bachelor’s degree is desired; minimum is High school degree required with some college experience
- Prior experience within a clinical treatment setting working closely with patients is preferred;
- Ability to shift between patient-centered activities and administrative responsibilities throughout the work day is essential
- Ability to be self-directed and motivated with minimal direct supervision
- Ability to exercise sound clinical judgment in routine, urgent, and emergent clinical situations
- Ability to document effectively and efficiently in course of clinical work, and to navigate an electronic health record.
- Essential computer skills such as Word, preferred Excel, and electronic medical record experience
- Must be detail oriented and ability to multitask
Additional qualifications include:

- Knowledge of ICD- 10 and CPT codes
- Knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulation
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
All of the work takes place in an office setting; manual dexterity is required to operate TMS equipment; manual dexterity is needed to use computers and standard office equipment.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
