Pool Gate Attendant

Position Summary:

The Gate Attendant at the outdoor pool is responsible for ensuring only authorized guests access the pool area, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, and providing exceptional customer service to resort guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control guest entry to the outdoor pool area.
• Verify guest identification (wristbands, passes, etc.) according to resort policy.
• Greet guests warmly and provide basic information about pool rules and amenities.
• Communicate effectively with lifeguards, pool staff, and resort security if issues arise.
• Maintain a clean and organized entrance area.
• Report any safety concerns, maintenance issues, or unauthorized activities to the appropriate supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 15 years old.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle conflict diplomatically.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and demeanor.
• Prior customer service or hospitality experience preferred.

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Requires standing for extended periods.
• Weekends, holidays, and evening shifts may be required.
