About the Department
We are a critical access hospital with a nine bed Emergency Department. Our ED admitting desk is staffed 24/7 and the ED HUC/Admitting clerk supports the ED and the entire health system.
Mission for Position
To support the Emergency Department and health system to provide personalized, quality care to each patient, every time.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to internal and external customers at Lakewood
- Multitask with clerical duties including but not limited to phone, registration, and paging
- Maintain patient and system confidentiality according to HIPPA guidelines and Lakewood's policies
Position Type
Casual position: this is a flexible, as-needed position. Casual employees are called to work based on staffing needs, without a guaranteed number of hours.
