CERTIFICATIONS: Must have appropriate Certification/LicensureExpertise in woodwinds is preferred, but not requiredMust meet BCII & FBI background checksJOB GOALS: Helps direct the instrumental concert and marching band programs. Helps plan, implement, and assess student learning experiences. Helps students make appropriate choices.PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Will need to plan for and teach Jazz Band, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade band classes, a Guitar class and High School Concert Band. Supplementals for Middle School Band Director & High School Assistant Band Director will be included in this teaching position.
