We are seeking a dedicated Admissions Coordinator to ensure that every referral is processed and reviewed in a timely manner and that every admission is accomplished by providing a smooth transition from the hospital, community, or other settings. The Admissions Coordinator serves as the communication link between departments, ensuring a seamless process for each referral and admission.

Admissions Coordinator Requirements:
- Experience in healthcare, human services, marketing, census development, and the admissions process
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team setting with a positive and enthusiastic approach to tasks
- Professional grooming, manners, and conduct
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
As an Admissions Coordinator, you will:
- Assist with client inquiries and admissions procedures
- Organize and input information into databases
- Follow the facility’s admission process
- Verify primary and secondary payer sources
- If Medicare, verify the number of days available (HIQA and prior SNF)
- If PA/Pending, notify the business office regarding the application status
- Verify payment status on all new admissions
- Enter all face sheet information into the system, referring incomplete information to social services and bookkeeping for follow-up
