What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Attendant position at Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club?
The Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club, is looking for a PART TIME Front Desk Attendant for the Fitness Center.
SCHEDULE: Nights and weekends (Weekdays 3PM-9PM or 4PM-9PM AND Weekends 7AM-12PM or 12PM-5PM)
POSITION SUMMARY:
Providing Members and Guest with clean, safe, state of the art fitness equipment, facilities and programming to ensure a high level of member satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide members with timely and efficient service(s)
- Provide members with timely and efficient service(s)
- Knowing and following established opening and closing procedures
- Carry out all the requirements as set by the Fitness Center Manager for keeping the Fitness/Aquatics center running efficiently
- Maintain accurate records in front desk log book, equipment maintenance and repair books
- Performing and adhering to SMR, Inc.’s operating policies and procedures
- Keeping records of and not limited to, massages, guest/temporary memberships, swimming lessons
- Keeping locker rooms neat, clean and stocked
- Ensuring good safety practices of employees, members and guest throughout the Club and assisting in maintaining proper emergency and security procedures
- Interfacing with other departments of SMR, Inc. to ensure good working relationships
- Maintain warm hospitable member relations in all areas of member and guest contact
- Assist with special member activities as needed
- Checking all membership cards for proper membership usage by member
- Keep towel storage well stocked
- Perform special projects as requested
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Computer knowledge an asset
- Multi-task orientated individual
- Phone skills necessary
- Gym experience recommended
- Previous health oriented or private club experience preferred, customer service oriented
- Certified in First Aid or AED/CPR preferred
- Self-starter, Motivated, Outgoing personality
