What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisor of Transport and Tech Assistance Full Time Days position at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center?
Responsibilities
- Maintains current BLS Certification / Expiration date.
- Follows LWRMC Policy and Procedure for patient identification.
- Speaks to others using language appropriate to their age and knowledge.
- Speaks in appropriate volume and tone according to the patients’ age and needs.
- Recognizes age specific safety issues, i.e. need for a wheelchair or medical assistance.
- Recognizes and performs basic care for each age group.
- Communicates appropriate information to the radiologist and other team members.
- Demonstrates ability to order, complete, cancel, and change exams in the computer system.
- Understands department scheduling and patient and / or procedure preparation instructions.
- Checks and maintains emergency drug box, wall oxygen, wall suction equipment and monitoring devices daily.
- Assists with quality improvement projects as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
