JOB DESCRIPTION
Clean floors, including vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, damp and / or wet mopping, and disinfecting.
Clean and / or polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, heating and cooling units, etc. in resident rooms, recreational areas and offices as instructed.
Clean offices, hallways, stairways and elevator.
Other duties as assinged.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS :
1. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities requires demonstrated ability to maintain the physical environment in a clean, safe, and attractive condition in accordance with facility specifications.
Position requires prolonged standing, walking, frequent bending, stooping, stretching, and requires moving of heavy furniture;
lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
2. Education : High school graduate or GED preferred.
3. Experience : Previous work experience in housekeeping preferred. Previous experience in the health care industry is ideal.
