Salary Range Based on Experience $60,00-$80,000
Lakewood Retirement Community is seeking a Business Office Manager to join our senior living community and help ensure smooth financial operations that support our mission of compassionate care.

In this role, you’ll oversee the business office functions—including accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, and financial reporting—and collaborate with department heads to develop and manage the community’s annual budget. You’ll be a key resource for residents, families, and staff, and play an important role in maintaining our high standards of service and financial integrity.
General Functions:
- Lead private pay billing and collections, month-end close, and variance reporting
- Assist with developing and consolidating departmental budgets
- Support vendor contract management and financial compliance
- Meet with residents/families to discuss financial matters and ensure clarity
- Supervise an Administrative Assistant and foster a collaborative work culture
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred but not required.
- 1–2 years in accounting or financial operations; senior living/healthcare experience is a plus
- Proficiency in budgeting, Microsoft Office, and accounting software
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
