Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain wastewater treatment equipment and systems
- Monitor and analyze wastewater samples to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment
- Operate heavy equipment such as tankers for transporting wastewater
- Use distributed control systems to monitor and control wastewater treatment processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment and systems
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills to analyze wastewater samples and make necessary adjustments
- Proficiency in equipment repair and maintenance
- Experience operating heavy equipment, such as tankers, in a wastewater treatment setting
- Knowledge of distributed control systems used in wastewater treatment plants
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
- Basic plumbing skills for making repairs and installations
- Strong understanding of basic math principles for calculations and measurements
