Position Summary: We are seeking a responsible and certified Lifeguard to join our team for the summer season. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety of all pool patrons, maintain a clean pool area, and contribute to a positive experience for our members and guests.

- Maintain active Certified Lifeguard Certification.
- Be available to work from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
- Be prepared to work on Mondays for Memorial Day, Labor Day, and other special events (the club is otherwise closed on Mondays).
- Wear appropriate lifeguard attire at all times.
- Administer Swimming Proficiency Tests to each Summer Sailing Camper.
- Operate and utilize an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) as needed.
- Perform pool maintenance tasks, including skimming the pool, cleaning pool skimmers, checking chemical levels, cleaning the pool deck, and organizing pool furniture.
- Current Lifeguard Certification required.
- Experience with AED use preferred.
- Strong swimming skills and ability to conduct proficiency tests.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
