Description: Director of Gifted Learners
Job Summary: The Director of Gifted Education will oversee all aspects of programming for gifted students within the Lakota Local School District. This role is essential in addressing the academic and social-emotional needs of gifted
students, fostering opportunities for their enrichment and acceleration. The Director will collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to design and implement strategies that support the success of
gifted students. This role also emphasizes the integration of competitive academic opportunities and innovative enrichment initiatives derived from our district’s long-standing practices.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Valid Ohio Teaching License.
- K-12 Gifted Intervention Specialist Endorsement.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in gifted education, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Valid driver’s license.
Working Conditions: 8 hours per day, 5 days per week and 227 days per school year calendar, 1 FTE.
