Job Title: APIC and DataPower Developer

Location: Anywhere in US.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced APIC and DataPower Developer to design, develop, and implement API solutions using IBM API Connect (APIC) and IBM DataPower Gateway. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in API development, security policies, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, configure, and deploy APIs using IBM API Connect (APIC) and IBM DataPower.
• Implement API security policies, including OAuth, JWT, and TLS.
• Work on API gateway configurations, transformations, and routing.
• Troubleshoot and optimize API performance and DataPower services.
• Integrate APIs with backend services, databases, and cloud platforms.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for API lifecycle management.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with IBM API Connect (APIC) v10  and IBM DataPower Gateway.
• Knowledge of REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, XSLT, and WSDL.
• Hands-on experience in OAuth 2.0, JWT, LDAP, and TLS/SSL configurations.
• Experience in developing API proxies and policies.
• Good understanding of API security, rate limiting, and caching mechanisms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, logging, and monitoring solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with IBM Cloud, AWS, or Azure API services.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like JavaScript or Python.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and automation.
