Pay rate: $37,336.00/year for High School / 5 yrs of exp,$58,490.00/year for 1 yr exp, $69,056.00/year for 2 yrs exp (OES industry standards) (Employer will pay or exceed the prevailing wage, as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor)

Job Duties: As a Security Screener, the employee will be responsible for the following job duties:

• Conduct regular patrols of the store, gas station, and surrounding areas to maintain a visible security presence.

• Search carry-on or checked baggage by hand when it is suspected to contain prohibited items.

• Monitor CCTV cameras and other surveillance equipment to detect suspicious activities or security breaches. Ensure security equipment is operational and coordinate repairs.

• Ensure safety measures are maintained at the gas station.

• Check identification and credentials of employees, contractors, and visitors as necessary.

• Contact relevant authorities in cases of urgent security issues.

• Investigate theft, fraud, and security breaches, prepare detailed reports, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and company policies.

• Work closely with store management and other staff to ensure a coordinated approach to security.

• Address customer concerns or complaints related to security issues.

Pay: $24.84 - $35.60 per hour
