Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our team. You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, implementing educational activities, and ensuring the safety and well-being of each child in your care.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
- Educate children on various subjects through interactive play, storytelling, and hands-on activities.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress in areas such as social skills, language development, and motor skills.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and any concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall learning experience for students.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress reports, and assessments.
Qualifications
- An associate's degree in early childhood education or child development Associate (CDA) is preferred.
- Experience working with young children in a classroom or childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Skills in behavior management and classroom organization are essential.
- CPR/First aid certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A nurturing demeanor with the ability to engage children in learning activities actively.
