SCOPE: Candidate will work in the claims department, analyzing delay claims brought against the State within a geographic region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the workload within the geographic region assigned to them independently and think critically to make contractual decisions.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field, or associates degree with 2 years’ experience in similar position, or 4 years’ experience in a similar position
- Experience reading and interpreting construction schedules required.
- Similar position/s must include contract, project management and scheduling experience. Estimating experience preferred, but not required
- Must have a driver's license valid in New York State and reliable means of transportation
- Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate with all management levels
- Must have exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Some NYS travel required
- OSHA 30
