Medical Office Helper

Lam Clinic - Functional Medicine and Integrative Medicine is seeking a Medical Office Helper to perform a variety of office support tasks. A background in a medical environment (work, volunteer, or education) is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Answer, screen, and transfer incoming calls.
• Greet patients and assist with medical intake procedures, including working with medical equipment.
• Perform fulfillment, picking, and cleaning duties.
• Assist doctors as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred.
• Excellent written communication skills, capable of professionally representing the company to clients and visitors.
• Mandatory: Previous experience or training in a medical field or environment.
• Typing speed of at least 45 WPM (testing will be conducted).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Pleasant and approachable personality.
• Willingness to learn (training provided).

COVID-19 Considerations

Job Details:

• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
• Expected Hours: 32 – 40 per week
• Medical Specialty: Internal Medicine
• Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday (no weekends)
