The Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes.
The Impact You’ll Make
Support for core writing staff and engineering to perform technical writing, editing and document conversion into DITA / XML content management system. Teamwork, editing skills, and attention to details are essential to this position.
Writer is responsible for converting documentation into the CMS per the aligned and committed deadlines (both internal and external). This work includes, but is not limited to, CMS DITA / XML editing, conversion, translation, and incorporating media to create a publication. Attend and contribute to MInT content team meetings and provide status and plan for future deliverables. Define and address issues related to content package issues and formatting on tablet. Perform functions related to CMS software administration. Additional duties include creating release notes for advanced service products or other documentation as needed. Produces products that conform to the company documentation and quality assurance standards.
Who We’re Looking For
Minimum of 4 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 2 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 1 year experience; or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate has demonstrated a strong attention to detail, effectiveness in working cross-functionally, and an ability to define and resolve problems. They should be able to work independently to meet deadlines and communicate with team members and stakeholders effectively.
