The Impact You'll Make
We are seeking a software quality assurance (QA) intern with a strong background in engineering concepts to help deliver our 3D semiconductor modeling software. You will be embedded in a collaborative software development team that is following the Scrum agile development process. Through daily engagement with the developers, you will play a critical role in helping us deliver quality software on Windows, Linux and web platforms. This is an intern position for Summer 2025.
What You'll Do
- Validate the operation and functionality of our 3D modeling environment and web applications
- Author technical reports summarizing software defects and enhancement requests
- Identify, design, create and maintain end-to-end test cases for automated functional regression test suites for desktop and web applications.
- Collaborate with software developers and the QA team to isolate and resolve defects
- Participate in planning and design discussions with the software development team

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer / supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer / supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
