This role offers a first-year earning potential of $50,000 - $100,000, including commissions, dependent on experience and selling ability. A commission-based pay structure with an annual base salary of $35,000 provides flexibility and opportunities for growth. In addition, monthly auto and cell allowances are provided for work-related expenses. Job Description
The Account Executive will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives in their assigned territory by promoting and selling outdoor advertising to qualified advertisers. This involves using professional sales techniques, developing long-term advertising relationships, and identifying potential growth areas and opening new accounts. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to make oral presentations, and articulate policies and procedures clearly. Additionally, they will be comfortable making cold calls and be willing to immerse themselves in the outdoor advertising industry.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Key qualifications include a current and valid driver's license, college degree preferred, previous outdoor advertising sales experience preferred, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM experience preferred. The ability to perform effectively under fluctuating workloads, meet a sales quota, and utilize general sales techniques is essential. Intrinsic self-motivation to overcome challenges and meet goals, as well as resilience in response to rejection, are also required.
