Job Summary
Lamar Advertising Company is seeking a skilled Construction - Billboard Installer to join our team in Memphis, TN. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your technical skills and knowledge to bring outdoor advertising campaigns to life.
As a key member of our Operations crew, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining billboards, including installation of advertisements, maintenance of structures, and construction upkeep of billboard cosmetics. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all installations are completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Removal and installation of advertisements, maintenance of structures, and construction upkeep of billboard cosmetics
- Installation of extension on billboards, cutting brush/weeds, conducting storm damage repairs and minor electrical repairs
- Use of power/manual tools while adhering to safety regulations
- Attending installer and construction safety meetings as required
- Maintenance of operation vehicles; maintenance of construction tools, equipment, and machinery
- Documentation of installations through photographs and written logs
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to complete OSHA 10-hour Construction course required
- Previous experience working at heights up to 200 ft. above ground preferred
- Construction and/or billboard installation experience a plus but not required
