Your Role:
As a Certified Compounding Pharmacy Technician, you will:
- Accurately prepare non-sterile compounded medications in compliance with established procedures.
- Maintain precise compounding records, including batch records and formulation worksheets.
- Operate and maintain compounding equipment, ensuring proper calibration and cleanliness.
- Support inventory management of compounding ingredients and supplies.
- Follow all safety and regulatory guidelines, including USP standards.
- Provide excellent customer service, communicating effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Assist with additional pharmacy technician tasks as required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active & In Good Standing: A Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
- Experience: At least 6 months of recent experience in compounding pharmacy.
- Software Knowledge: Familiarity with PioneerRx and PK Software is highly preferred.
- Skills: A strong understanding of compounding procedures, techniques, calculations, and regulations.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus on accuracy in your work.
- Efficiency: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical Ability: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Attitude: A positive outlook, excellent work ethic, and a passion for serving the community.
