Job Summary/Basic Function
About This Role:
The Department of Educational Leadership seeks qualified candidates to teach courses across the department curriculum. This is a part-time, pooled position filled on an as-needed basis. Adjunct instructors are responsible for delivering instruction, maintaining communication, and ensuring timely submission of student grades and records.
What You’ll Do – Position Responsibilities:
- Instruction and Course Management
- Teach assigned courses at scheduled times using effective and current pedagogical methods.
- Prepare and deliver course materials, including lectures, assignments, and assessments aligned with departmental learning objectives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, progress, and grades.
- Student and Department Communication
- Maintain effective and timely communication with students regarding course expectations, progress, and feedback.
- Communicate regularly with the department chair and relevant program coordinators regarding course updates, challenges, or student concerns.

- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to implement effective and innovative teaching strategies.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift 25 lbs. and be able to perform a variety of physical tasks including lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, stair climbing and walking between buildings.

Minimum Qualifications (Education & Experience)
- Earned graduate degree in Educational Leadership or other discipline relevant to the teaching area from an accredited institution.
