Lamarque Crescent City Ford is looking for an experienced Service Technician to join our complex in Harahan, Louisiana. The Service Technician will be responsible for providing high-quality service and maintenance on a variety of automotive vehicles. The Service Technician will be responsible for diagnosing complex problems and performing an array of services including maintenance, repair and restoration of automobiles. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of automotive service experience and possess excellent mechanical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies
• Test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment; test drive vehicles
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.  Complete online multi-point inspection report
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
