Effingham Hospital is seeking a skilled and experienced certified OR Surgery Technician / Technologist to join our team for a 13-week contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic surgical environment while gaining valuable experience.
Job Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the surgical team to provide optimal patient care during procedures.
- Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, ensuring sterility and safety.
- Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and draping.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide necessary supplies and equipment.
- Monitor patient's condition and vital signs throughout the procedure.
- Administer medications and blood products as directed.
- Participate in the documentation of patient care.
