Responsibilities:
- Monitor project schedule, budget, and prepare regular reports
- Maintain records, prepare correspondence, and detailed project status reports
- Perform construction project management duties including review of material submittals, contractor pay estimates, and contractor performance
- Make field visits during construction and interact with contractors regarding project issues and standards
- Inspect ongoing construction work for compliance with plans, specifications, and barricade standards
- Train inspectors and coordinate daily project work activities for inspection team
- Assist in developing project management plans, defining tasks, and managing resources
- Track project deliverables and assure quality, reporting progress to all stakeholders
- Foster an honest, respectful, and enjoyable work environment at Lamb-Star
- May engage in surveying, drafting/design work, and the preparation of monthly and final invoice billing
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution
- Basic understanding of civil engineering design, construction management, and field surveying
- Familiarity with construction materials, inspection practices, and contract requirements
- Proficiency in operating personal computers, drafting tools, and survey instruments
- Strong organization and prioritization skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively with team members to interpret construction drawings, prepare cost estimates, and work independently
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and non-standard hours
- Employment is conditional upon successful completion of background, drug and motor vehicle screenings
