">will be responsible for leading procurement efforts to execute strategic goals, implement sourcing strategies for corporate services spend, and serve as a trusted partner/advisor to senior leaders.
">This role will act as a change agent advancing procurement capabilities from a company-wide perspective, improving corporate procurement procedures & processes, and elevating Procurement's status as a trusted partner in the organization.
">Key Responsibilities:

- Own a significant book of business and align with company cost, quality, delivery & service requirements ">
- Collaborate with executives & internal stakeholders to improve procurement strategies ">
- Elevate Procurement's status as a trusted partner in Lamb Weston ">
- Build appropriate Supplier Risk Management protocols with critical suppliers ">
- Efficient communication of strategies, priorities, goals, challenges & results ">
- Lead complex sourcing efforts & negotiate with suppliers ">
- Manage & own the entire contract negotiation process with support from Legal ">
- Passionately support ESG outcomes for assigned categories ">
- Contribute procurement performance & inflationary targets as part of annual budget planning cycle ">
Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree is required; Master's in a business-related field a plus ">
- 7 years of experience in Procurement with at least 3 years in a corporate environment ">
- Experience in the food manufacturing industry a plus ">
- Exhibits strong leadership & the ability to manage develop talent ">
- Possess the capability to directly negotiate, manage & enforce contracts with limited support ">
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills ">
- Capability to operate in uncertain environments & deliver under pressure ">
- Natural influencer & persuasive at all levels of the business ">
- Knowledge of SAP ERP & related systems including SAP Ariba ">
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint ">
