Engineering Intern

Job Description

Support the Lamb Weston Global Engineering team with several projects related to engineering in the manufacturing industry. A skilled mentor with be assigned to the intern for the duration of the internship. This mentor will provide training and complete weekly reviews to assess progress and answer questions.

Intern will assist in the planning, execution, and completion of multiple projects at the company’s Pasco, Washington facility. The intern will learn and execute the company’s project development and execution guidelines alongside a team of project engineers with an emphasis in wastewater treatment facility design. Weekly reviews will be completed with the intern’s assigned mentor to track progress and development.

Duties & Responsibilities include :

• Tracking and completion of project punch lists
• Tracking of daily contractor safe work plans and planning
• Perform system analyses to develop design options and cost impacts
• Monitor and confirm contractor installation meet drawing and design specifications
• Develop and redline project drawings (General Arrangements, P&IDs, Electrical)
