Job Description Summary
Lamb Weston is looking for an Operations Support Specialist (OSS) to join our Human Resources team at our potato processing facility in American Falls, Idaho. This role follows a 2-2-3 night shift schedule, working from 7 PM to 7 AM.
As part of a collaborative HR team alongside other OSSs and HR Generalists, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day administrative operations.
The position involves frequent customer interaction, so excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette are essential. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows, are required. Experience with systems such as Kronos, Workday, and Indeavor or Dayforce is a plus.
The successful candidate will also be trusted to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
Job Description
The Operations Support Specialist will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks efficiently during their shift. Key responsibilities include :
- Coordinating and adjusting hourly employee schedules as needed.
- Reviewing, entering, and updating data into HR and payroll systems.
- Processing payroll information and ensuring accuracy.
- Communicating employee schedules and managing overtime assignments.
- Handling incoming phone calls and routing them appropriately.
- Interacting professionally and respectfully with employees.
- Signing in visitors and providing necessary information.
- Maintaining and updating employee files and records.
- Compiling and preparing HR-related reports and data.
- Assisting with additional tasks as assigned by HR leadership or team members.
